Minor Hockey Funding Allocation Policy

  1. A child cannot receive more than one grant in a year (rep fees are not eligible for funding)
  2. A child must be registered or entering into the Antigonish (AHMA), Strait-Richmond Minor Hockey Association (SRMHA), or Quad County Whitecaps (QC Whitecaps)
  3. First time recipients must be under 16 years of age
  4. Funds are awarded for registration fees and equipment costs only
  5. Application deadline Friday, August 15th 2025
  6. Applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the deadline notifying them of the status of their application
  7. Registration grants will be arranged with the Minor Hockey Association. Equipment grants will be arranged with Cleve’s Source for Sports in Antigonish. Names of applicants will be shared with our two partnering organizations.

Bonvie-MacDonald Rinks to Links Golf Classic Raising funds for boys and girls who cannot afford the high cost of playing minor hockey. Additional beneficiaries of the tournament have included Antigonish Early Childhood Intervention, The Jordon Myles Foundation, Antigonish Challenger Baseball, Knights of Columbus Toy Drive, Antigonish Food Bank, Antigonish Minor Softball, Uniquely Abled Fitness, & Antigonish Inclusive Parabulldogs.
