Minor Hockey Funding Allocation Policy

  1. A child cannot receive more than one grant in a year (rep fees are not eligible for funding)
  2. A child must be registered or entering into the Antigonish (AHMA) or Strait-Richmond Minor Hockey Association (SRMHA)
  3. First time recipients must be under 16 years of age
  4. Funds are awarded for registration fees and equipment costs only
  5. Application deadline Friday, September 2nd, 2022
  6. Applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the deadline notifying them of the status of their application
  7. Registration grants will be arranged with the Minor Hockey Association. Equipment grants will be arranged with Cleve’s Source for Sports in Antigonish. Names of applicants will be shared with our two partnering organizations.

    Bonvie-MacDonald Rinks to Links Golf Classic Raising funds for boys and girls who cannot afford the high cost of playing minor hockey. Additional beneficiaries of the tournament have included Big Brothers Big Sisters, Antigonish Early Childhood Intervention, Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation and St. Martha’s Hospital Pediatric Department.
