Community Grant Program

The Bonvie-MacDonald Community Grant Program, created in 2017, is focused on organizations helping children in need.

Through the on-line application form on this website, organizations that think they may qualify for assistance are to submit the requested information no later than December 1st, 2024.  Each year, only those applications submitted on or prior to the deadline will be considered for funding.

The grant amount requested, if approved, may or may not be fully funded, depending on the number of qualified applications and the total funding available.

While not specific or restricted to the following groups, each one represents an example of the type of organization that would be considered for a grant:

  • Antigonish Minor Hockey Association
  • Antigonish-Guysborough Early Childhood Intervention Program
  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters Antigonish

    Bonvie-MacDonald Rinks to Links Golf Classic Raising funds for boys and girls who cannot afford the high cost of playing minor hockey. Additional beneficiaries of the tournament have included Big Brothers Big Sisters, Antigonish Early Childhood Intervention, Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation and St. Martha’s Hospital Pediatric Department.
